The daily complimentary drink and ice cream were delightful surprises that truly enhanced our stay.
The breakfast required preordering the day before and felt somewhat limited compared to other options nearby.

Wow, the complimentary ice cream was a perfect little treat after a long day of exploration! The record player in the room created a chill vibe that made relaxing a breeze. Plus, the staff went above and beyond in their kindness!
The breakfast options left much to be desired—mostly just sugary stuff. And while the walls seemed a bit thin, we could at least hear some laughter next door, which added a cheery backdrop to our stay.

The welcoming vibe of the staff truly made us feel at home.
During my stay, I frequently wished there were more dining options nearby. The quiet area felt remote, and it took more time than expected to reach restaurants, which was frustrating after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the bathroom was quite small, making it a bit challenging for two people to share comfortably.

missingWrote a review on 31 Octbreakfast variety
The breakfast lacked variety, requiring preordering the day before, which limited last-minute options. The residential setting felt quiet, but being far from restaurants meant needing to travel for dinner. Additionally, some humidity issues in the room were noticeable, suggesting a potential problem with ventilation.

missingWrote a review on 31 Octpoor locationlacking hospitality
it’s adorable that they think their location is convenient, but really, it's miles from anything interesting, and the breakfast was quite lacking. after all, how hard is it to serve decent food? also, an ice cream treat on check-in doesn’t replace proper hospitality. i expected at least a complimentary upgrade for my troubles but, of course, that was too much to ask.

A prime choice for a short weekend trip in Kyoto with outstanding value for money. The record player in the room added a nice touch to relax after exploring. Consider bringing snacks since there's not much available on-site after breakfast hours.
